Another day in the neighborhood.
Another mundane Monday, or is it?

It’s kind of ironic how usually one would think that it’s best to not have (enough) work… during work; that a slow day is a good day — Because everyone would love to get paid to go on Facebook. Well, today was one of those days, but it wasn’t a “good day.”

I like busy and I like others who think the same. Time is used more efficiently, the brain works harder, and personal skills aren’t just plateauing. All day I just sat there like this in front of the screen—>  (8I) thinking, when will I put my degree to use? Ouch. Yes I said it.

Then lo and behold, a stack of work comes my way, and I’m a happy camper (or not, because of how long it’s going to take to get it done lol).

Though slow days cannot be helped sometimes, it shouldn’t be taken for granted either.  I’m just grateful to even have a job right out of college.
