Like wow, that was SO 2011.
Some notable events that happened this PAST 2011 year: To the birth of three beautiful baby girls: CASSANDRA, CHRISTIANE, and CELENI, all of which I was able to have the honor of being a godmother to all three. Congratulations and good luck to KUYA JON, ATE CATHY, KUYA CHRISTIAN, ATE KYRA, and ATE JENN as being parents and guardians for all these 3 cutie-pies. To NIKKI’S 18th birthday - I...

We meet again, you and I.
I thought I told you I never wanted to see you again. And yet, here you are. A reminder of a distant past for which I closed, but was really just ajar. The sliver cracks allowed a breeze of temptation for you to pull. And it worked, for in increments of time I inhaled your gusts of wind - I’m full. You embody me whole and destroy my world so sublime. I exhale hard enough to push you away,...

When you feel like giving up … If you think you suffer in life, do you suffer as much as he does? If you complain about your transport system …
If your society is unfair …

Please. Please use “Christmas.” Don’t use “Xmas.” You’re not trying to cross out Christ… No matter how much you’re in dire need to shortcut the word.

Another He said, She said.
HE: Can I buy you a drink?
SHE: Actually I’d rather have the money.
HE: I’m a photographer. I’ve been looking for a face like yours. SHE: I’m a plastic surgeon. I’ve been looking for a face likeyours. HE: Hi. Didn’t we go on a date once? Or was it twice? SHE: Must’ve been once. I never make the same mistake twice. HE: Will you go out with me this...

Another motive: Push. Strive. Win.
I’m at my home Starbucks here in Noho studying for my CPA exams for the coming months: It’s dreadful. Not to be confused with “a waste of time,” however. I’m sure, like what everyone goes through, our long, dreary times working hard for something you want will reap a desirable outcome. If it doesn’t, don’t cry. You either try harder, or you ultimately...

Another annoyance: Grammar sucks for some people.
Why do people suck at grammar? Why is using their, there, and they’re so hard? Why did I see a published little book from Urban outfitters entitled What does your Poo Mean? (Or something along those lines) and they use “Not unlike a snowflake,” instead of “Like a snowflake,”?
There so pretty.

I feel like this man is just trying to teach the people who voted yes on Prop 8 a lesson in civil rights. Of course the proposition would still allow annulments, as well as have other special circumstances such as infidelity, spousal abuse, abandonment, etc.
The passing of Prop 8 to ban gay marriage was because people want to “protect traditional marriage” and yet the US divorce rate...
Another thought: Time.
Time. You spend it, you make it, you use it, you waste it. It’s only controllable if you can manage it. It’s wasted if there ‘s any type of hindrance to your plans of making time, whether physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, politically, etc.
Or maybe to say it generally, time is the journey, no matter how it’s being traveled. It’s the kinds of roads you...

Another reason to live -- or die.
The passing of someone is a touchy subject — no matter what the cause of death. The passing of someone Young is touchier — also, no matter what the cause. But somehow, the passing of someone Young who doesn’t know how to handle their minds, their liver, their lungs, their whole physicality for which could have been controlled — there is remorse, but very little.

Another fight for what matters.
Because falling into the trap of doing/getting what you want versus what you need is a curse — or it can be. It’s steering away from what matters that becomes a particular bullseye. It’s just so much easier to reach, and that much more enjoyable. To delay a priority to feel temporarily satisfied — it’s bullshit, and I’m no exception.
Because who gives a damn...

Another new experience. Please share in it!
Art is timeless. To speak to an audience in volumes is a wonderful thing. To know as an artist you’ll receive unspoken gratitude as your work is observed and appreciated — That you are the reason we are here, to interpret, and be interpreted.
It was a Friday, June 26, 2010, when I went with my cousin and other good company to an art show in Los Angeles (Little Tokyo). Swarms of...

Another familiar face.
It’s a wonderful thing to sit down and catch up with good company — over good food. Just being able to pick up what was dropped (unintentionally) is pretty awesome. And feeling cared for by someone who drove so many miles to see you… well, it’s kind of flattering actually. OK, maybe that’s just my opinion, but, it was nice. (He had other people to see too, but my...

Another stuck moment in time.
Sometimes it’s just easier to be indirect sometimes; that a little embellishing would suffice. That you want everyone to know, but no one to know. That’s the recent story about me.
I’ve turned around and realized that maybe there’s a bit of true happiness right behind me; that maybe I’ve slipped and fell… in like. That maybe fond youthful memories brings the...
Another mundane Monday, or is it?
It’s kind of ironic how usually one would think that it’s best to not have (enough) work… during work; that a slow day is a good day — Because everyone would love to get paid to go on Facebook. Well, today was one of those days, but it wasn’t a “good day.”
I like busy and I like others who think the same. Time is used more efficiently, the brain works...

So, I’ve conformed to the Tumbler pool. For how long? Who knows. Maybe it may last for about 3 years like my last Xanga site which was last updated in 2008. Shall it continue to be retired? We’ll see.
Time for change, I suppose.
